Meet the team

I enjoy providing gentle, patient centred dental care, from emergency treatment to comprehensive dental care. I grew up in Christchurch. After graduating with a BDS from Otago I worked in Auckland and the UK in private practice. I settled in Christchurch working in private practice and to raise my family. Now I enjoy helping people to after their dental health at both the hospital and in the friendly atmosphere here at Redwood Family Dentists.

Michelle graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago. She spent time working in private practice in sunny Tauranga before coming back home to Christchurch where she has been for the past few years. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and believes in working alongside families and individuals to provide quality, gentle dental care. She recognises the importance of continued up-skilling in providing the best dental care she can to her patients and enjoys going to various local and international dental courses.  Promoting good oral health and making it accessible to those that are most at need is a huge passion of hers. She has been involved with multiple dental charity organisations including the Canterbury Charity Hospital and Smiles for the Pacific @ Lautoka, Fiji Hospital. Michelle can speak English and Mandarin Chinese. 

I am excited to have recently joined the well-established and hospitable Redwood Family Dentists team. With my positive and friendly personality, I aim to establish a genuine connection with each of my patients. Furthermore, I will take the time to understand the needs of each patient and provide care tailored to each individual. Although I enjoy the high stakes of a hockey game, you can ensure a calm and comfortable environment with me and the team at Redwood Family Dental.
